Come and enjoy classic Bible stories with your children at our Reading Room, 2438 N. Charles St. From 11:00-11:45 on the first Saturday of each month. We share stories and songs about Old Testament heroes, as well as the parables of Jesus. Children learn how they, like the Bible characters, can pray to God and feel God’s love for them.
A Healing talk for ourselves and our City
The speaker is Mark McCurties, CS a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship We live in a city where hundreds of people are striving to make change for the better. How do we make sure such change actually happens?
The speaker will explain how God’s loving and saving power is the greatest agent for change, and with a right understanding of God, His power can be seen and felt right here and right now, bringing health and peace to each one of us and to Baltimore. The ideas in this lecture are based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and as discussed in the book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy.
