The heart and soul of Christian Science is Love – for God and man, made in His image and likeness. It’s about feeling God’s goodness every moment of every day. Our practice is based on a spiritual understanding of the Bible, as explained in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and other writings by Mary Baker Eddy. Eddy’s writings address the nature and definition of God, good and evil, life and death, sacrament, atonement, salvation, and more. Christian Science is based on healing. We strive to see things from a spiritual perspective as Jesus taught and demonstrated – resolving problems with health, relationships, employment, education, supply, and more, through prayer. The individual’s relationship to God is emphasized, so those who practice Christian Science are free to make their own choices about what to think and do in each situation, including health care.
